Easter Seals TriState’s Operation Vets THRIVE program supports more than 700 veterans in the Greater Cincinnati area every year. Staffed almost entirely by veterans, the program provides one-to-one attention and individualized solutions to the unique challenges faced by veterans returning to civilian life. By offering emergency, education, and employment resources, veterans receive comprehensive support for themselves and their families so that they can return to living, playing, and working fully in the community.

Summit for Soldiers is a group of Veterans that have “been there, done that” and have found solace and recovery through mountaineering and other outdoor adventures. We call this “Adven-therapy” and it’s a unique blend of camaraderie, mentorship and adventure that includes weekly training and activities, monthly outings and an expedition every six months. Our goal is to help you find a place to get away so you can heal and recover. Veterans Upward Bound

The Veterans Upward Bound Program is a free program offered to veterans. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The purpose of Veterans Upward Bound program is to refresh academic skills, assist in development of academic skills, and to advise in career and school selection. Basic eligibility requirements are that a veteran should be preparing to enter a postsecondary institution, be a 1st generation college attendee and/or low-income. A veteran CANNOT possess a 4-year college degree.
